Technology Risk Specialist/Assistant Manager

Responsibilities


    • Develop and maintain business continuity/disaster recovery plans, risk register, tech risk framework and policies
    • Continually self-assess technology risk controls as the threat environment change constantly.
    • Stay knowledgeable of current advances in all areas of information technology concerning vulnerabilities, security breaches or malicious attacks
    • Identify vulnerabilities or weaknesses in systems
    • Able to perform deep-dive investigation for control and process issues
    • Propose mitigation controls
    • Update security policy, processes and procedures for completeness to regulations and external threats
    • Ensure that controls are adequate to protect sensitive information systems
    • Provide consulting to Business Units and IT on technology risk matters
    • Participate and coordinate in internal/external audit activities

Requirements:


    • Degree in Information Security, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or other IT-related degree
    • 0 to 6 years of relevant working experience in information and cyber security
    • 0 to 6 years of relevant working experience in technology risk
    • Good knowledge of Info and Cyber security principles and practices.
    • Exposure and experience with MAS TRM regulations (plus for experience in regional regulations)
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you can find information and figure stuff out)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels in the company.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a team member with minimal supervision
    • Confidence to challenge 1st Line
    • Travelling up to 10%
    • Plus for Experience in Finance/Banking industry
    • Plus for Regional experience and role
    • Plus for ability to conversant in Chinese language to liaise with Chinese speaking associates

Equity Analyst

Responsibilities


    • The Equity Analyst will primarily be responsible for generating stock and ETF investment ideas in his/her assigned area of market coverage (SGX, HKEX and/or other exchanges), and communicating these ideas to the investing public predominantly through original research articles and presentations.

    • Conduct fundamental research on stocks listed in assigned area of market coverage (SGX, HKEX and/or other exchanges) using publicly available information sources, including financial statements, company annual reports, published research and online databases.
    • Generate high-conviction stock investment ideas, and work with other members of the research team to identify actionable ETF ideas across various geographical markets and/or sectors.
    • Communicate these ideas to the investing public through various channels, including original research articles and seminar presentations.
    • Participate in discussions to construct our internal focus lists, which aims to showcase some of our best stock investment ideas, and communicate the decisions to both the investing public, as well as internal stakeholders.

Requirements:


    • Strong analytical skills, with a deep understanding of financial statements and equity valuation methodologies. Able to distil large amounts of information into an investable thesis.
    • Excellent command of both spoken and written English, with a great story-telling ability.
    • Demonstrated interest in and passion for investing.
    • Able to multi-task and meet constant deadlines.
    • Bachelor degree holder in a related discipline (accountancy, finance or business administration).
    • As this is an entry-level position, prior experience is not required. Candidates without working experience or less than 2 years of working experience are welcomed to apply.

      We are looking for someone:
    • To provide personalised wealth management solutions to clients and help them grow their assets
    • To recommend a range of wealth management products (unit trusts, ETFs, direct bonds, stocks, insurance) to fulfil clients’ needs
    • To actively source for new clients on your own initiative
    • To service clients acquired by the company’s lead generation capabilities
    • Keep abreast of customer needs and investment market trends
    • Deliver effective and efficient support to clients, within and beyond office hours

Requirements:


    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Client-oriented, pleasant, meticulous and obliging disposition
    • Strong interest in investment products. Candidates with the relevant experience will have an added advantage.
    • Holds either one of the following qualifications:
    • A full certificate in GCE ‘A’ Level;
    • An International Baccalaureate Diploma qualification;
    • A diploma awarded by a polytechnic in Singapore; or
    • Any other academic qualification equivalent to the qualifications above
    • Certificates or exemptions from the following CMFAS/IBF modules will be advantageous: M1A, M5, M6, M6A, M8, M8A, M9, M9A

Securities Dealer, Securities Dealing

Responsibilities


    • Perform execution orders for fixed income and listed securities (Stocks, ETFs, DLCs, Structured Warrants) on global exchanges
    • Generate fixed income/ ETFs/stocks ideas
    • Conduct presentations and training
    • Service and support company's existing customers
    • Involve in the development of securities trading solution and enhancement of process flow
    • Set up new market access to global stock exchange and new counterparties
    • Involve in Product Development and ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements:


    • Degree with 1 or 2 years of experience in securities dealing in stockbroking industry preferred
    • Holder of Representative Licence with MAS and those with an existing portfolio of stock trading clients will be an advantage
    • Strong interest in the stock market and investment products
    • Highly driven and self-motivated
    • Able to handle clients independently, excellent interpersonal skills and resourceful
