Chief Risk Officer

Responsibilities

  • We are looking for suitable candidates to fill the position of Chief Risk Officer of the Group. The CRO oversees enterprise risk management of the Group, and is expected play a leadership role in ensuring risk status of the Group is healthy. This role reports directly to the Group CEO and key tasks include:







    • Review and enhance the enterprise risk management framework for the Group
    • Lead the risk management team in managing risk and control activities, from identifying, assessing, developing mitigating solutions to monitoring risk exposures across the group entities
    • Work with functional departments in implementing the mitigating solutions and monitor the progress of risk mitigation activities
    • Communicate effectively and provide training to build risk awareness within various business and functional departments
    • Create and disseminate risk measurements and reports to the Senior Management and Board Risk Committee
    • Conduct special reviews / risk assessments when required

Requirements:


    • Candidates who have 8 to 12 years of experience in risk controls and risk management related functions in banks or other regulated financial institutions
    • Strong leadership skills including effective interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • Knowledge and familiarity with risk management guidelines and expectations of regulators in Asia
    • Some travel is expected in the Asia region where the Group operates
    • Professional certifications such as CIA, CRMA, CCSA is an added advantage

AML Executive

Responsibilities


    • Provide timely and accurate AML/CFT compliance advisory to the relevant stakeholders to ensure that the company complies with applicable rules and regulations
    • Keep abreast of AML/CFT regulatory changes and provide timely dissemination of regulatory updates to ensure that the business units and relevant departments are aware of the latest rules and regulations
    • Implement and maintain robust framework for AML/CFT compliance reviews to assess the implementation of applicable rules and regulations
    • Devise and maintain AML/CFT training materials and conduct regular trainings to all staff
    • Undertake additional functions and duties when required

Requirements:


    • A good degree in Accountancy, Economics, Business or Banking & Finance
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in AML related roles in the financial/banking industry

Responsibilities


    • Responsible for all-rounded HR functions in Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Training and Development, Performance Management and Employee Relations.
    • Positively influence decisions to improve business results by optimizing HR processes and acting as the voice of the employees
    • Develop and implement HR projects to improve HR services and administration and continually review HR policies for effectiveness and relevance
    • Support department managers and staffs on HR related issues

Equity Analyst

Responsibilities


    • The Equity Analyst will primarily be responsible for generating stock and ETF investment ideas in his/her assigned area of market coverage (SGX, HKEX and/or other exchanges), and communicating these ideas to the investing public predominantly through original research articles and presentations.



    • Conduct fundamental research on stocks listed in assigned area of market coverage (SGX, HKEX and/or other exchanges) using publicly available information sources, including financial statements, company annual reports, published research and online databases.
    • Generate high-conviction stock investment ideas, and work with other members of the research team to identify actionable ETF ideas across various geographical markets and/or sectors.
    • Communicate these ideas to the investing public through various channels, including original research articles and seminar presentations.
    • Participate in discussions to construct our in-house focus lists, which aims to showcase some of our best stock investment ideas, and communicate the decisions to both the investing public, as well as internal stakeholders.
    • Undertake additional functions and duties when required.

Requirements:


    • Strong analytical skills, with a deep understanding of financial statements and equity valuation methodologies. Able to distil large amounts of information into an investable thesis.
    • Excellent command of both spoken and written English, with a great story-telling ability.
    • Demonstrated interest in and passion for investing.
    • Able to multi-task and meet constant deadlines.
    • Bachelor degree holder in a related discipline (accountancy, finance or business administration), preferably with at least one year of equity research experience. Candidates without working experience but with the right aptitude and attitude are welcomed to apply for this position.

Operations Executive - Account Services (1 year contract)

Responsibilities

Investment Consultant

Responsibilities


    • Conduct investments-related presentations and training
    • Construct portfolios for clients, depending on their goals and risk profiles

Requirements:


    • Degree holder in Finance, Business, Economics or any related discipline would be an advantage
    • At least 3 years of relevant experience in investment sales related jobs (e.g. relationship manager, investment consultant)
    • Keen interest and good knowledge in investments, especially for unit trusts and bonds
    • Good communication skills, verbally and in writing
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Internal IT Auditor

Responsibilities


    • Perform internal audit engagement (ie. review of security and controls in operating systems, application systems, network infrastructure, databases and internet) to provide assurance to Group Management on internal control
    • Ascertain compliance with regulation and security within areas in IT
    • To highlight forward looking indicators of potential risks within areas in IT
    • Special/adhoc audits, where required

Requirements:


    • Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field
    • At least 2-4 years of experience in IT audit, IT security & IT networking
    • CISA-trained preferred
    • Familiar with Java, Weblogic Application Server & Oracle Database
    • Candidates should be comfortable as a self starter with the ability to work independently and conduct hands-on fieldwork
    • Good communication skills
    • Fluent in English and Chinese Language (spoken and written) to liaise with Chinese speaking associates
    • Willingness to accommodate a very manageable amount of travel
