Unit Trust Analyst

Responsibilities


    • The analyst will primarily be responsible for generating investment ideas via unit trusts
    • Good market sense and strong knowledge of investment markets and products, including but not limited to bonds, equities, commodities
    • Conduct research on products, writing and publishing original and timely articles on products on board the platform
    • Participate in the on boarding process of new offerings, review of existing products
    • Generate high-conviction and actionable investment ideas from across the range of products on board the platform
    • Work with other teams to ensure appropriate product selection, investment views and advice for stakeholders
    • Communicate views and investment ideas via in-house and external presentations

Requirements:


    • A good degree in a related discipline (Economics, Finance, Business Administration)
    • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with an ability to connect the dots. Able to distil large amounts of information into a simple investable thesis
    • Resourceful, and able to multi-task and deliver high quality work under tight deadlines
    • Demonstrated interest in and passion for investing
    • Excellent command of both spoken and written English; proficiency in Chinese language to liaise with Chinese speaking customers will be a strong advantage

Corporate Seminar Telemarketer (3 months contract)

Responsibilities


    • Conduct cold calling to arrange for Corporate Seminar Opportunities with potential companies
    • Convert prospective leads into new client appointments to develop new business opportunities

Executive, Cash Management & Treasury

Responsibilities


    • Assist in generating interest and fee income through Cash Management
    • Coordinate and liaise with financial institutions for fund allocation, financing and management

Research Analyst

Responsibilities


    • Conduct research on financial markets worldwide, writing and publishing original and timely articles on equity and fixed income markets
    • Generating high-conviction and actionable investment ideas from across the global spectrum of markets
    • Work with other product teams regionally to devise strategic asset allocation views, appropriate investment views and advice for institutional and retail investors

Requirements:

Equity Analyst

Responsibilities


    • The Equity Analyst will primarily be responsible for generating stock and ETF investment ideas in his/her assigned area of market coverage (SGX, HKEX and/or other exchanges), and communicating these ideas to the investing public predominantly through original research articles and presentations.



    • Conduct fundamental research on stocks listed in assigned area of market coverage (SGX, HKEX and/or other exchanges) using publicly available information sources, including financial statements, company annual reports, published research and online databases.
    • Generate high-conviction stock investment ideas, and work with other members of the research team to identify actionable ETF ideas across various geographical markets and/or sectors.
    • Communicate these ideas to the investing public through various channels, including original research articles and seminar presentations.
    • Participate in discussions to construct our in-house focus lists, which aims to showcase some of our best stock investment ideas, and communicate the decisions to both the investing public, as well as internal stakeholders.
    • Undertake additional functions and duties when required.

Requirements:


    • Strong analytical skills, with a deep understanding of financial statements and equity valuation methodologies. Able to distil large amounts of information into an investable thesis.
    • Excellent command of both spoken and written English, with a great story-telling ability.
    • Demonstrated interest in and passion for investing.
    • Able to multi-task and meet constant deadlines.

Operations Executive (Corporate Action)

Responsibilities


    • Handling and processing of corporate action events which include but are not limited to units trust, bonds, ETFs and stocks
    • Reconciliation of shareholdings against external custodians and administrator’s records for stocks product
    • Assisting on trade submission for UT to FM
    • Handling stock AGM/ EGM/ SGM/ CM request
    • Tax residency reporting to Stock Registrar
    • Handling backroom enquiries from all internal stakeholders

Requirements:

Fixed Income Analyst

Responsibilities


    • Provide research and analysis for the coverage of fixed income segments, with a focus on the Singapore bond market. Contribute investment views and research for other fixed income markets (e.g. Hong Kong and Malaysia) in collaboration with the regional offices.

Internal IT Auditor

Responsibilities


    • Perform internal audit engagement (ie. review of security and controls in operating systems, application systems, network infrastructure, databases and internet) to provide assurance to Group Management on internal control
    • Ascertain compliance with regulation and security within areas in IT
    • To highlight forward looking indicators of potential risks within areas in IT
    • Special/adhoc audits, where required

Requirements:


    • Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field
    • At least 2-4 years of experience in IT audit, IT security & IT networking
    • CISA-trained preferred
    • Familiar with Java, Weblogic Application Server & Oracle Database
    • Candidates should be comfortable as a self starter with the ability to work independently and conduct hands-on fieldwork
